Zdeno Chara began his playing career through the time he joined the NHL Entry Draft in 1996. He was selected by the New York Islanders in the 3rd round, 56th overall pick. While he spent four seasons with all the team, Chara became known for his stay at home defense man. As he joined together with the team, he became a two way defense man. Chara’s stint with all the Senators, he determined that he’d not continue playing with all the team and became a unrestricted free agent by the end of 2005-06 season. Subsequently, he moved to Boston Bruins on July 1, 2006. He was five-time Hardest Shot victor throughout the NHL All-Star Game Super Skills competition. Additionally, he was the receiver of Mark Messier Leadership Award and directed the team winning the Stanley Cup in 2011. Zdeno Chra was produced on March 18, 1977 in Trenn, Czechoslovakia. He was hailed as Right to Play’s Fit Ambasssador. He attended Algonquin College in Ottawa and had a fiscal planning diploma.
