Violinist and vocalist/songwriter Theresa Andersson, who was simply given birth to and raised within the Swedish isle of Gotland, emigrated towards the U.S. in 1990 at age group 18 with her then-companion, guitarist Anders Osborne, as well as the few resolved in New Orleans, where Andersson first made an appearance on information by Osborne and by Merritt Doggins & the Bloodhounds.
