The Wrights Bio/Wiki 2018
The Wrights will be the husband-and-wife country duo of Adam and Shannon Wright. Natives of southwest Georgia, both was raised in musical homes (Adam’s uncle was nation superstar Alan Jackson) and considered country music young. They met one another in 1998 when Adam loaded in being a business lead guitarist at among Shannon’s membership gigs (she was a highlighted singer within a cover music group) and both began writing music together almost instantly, eventually dropping in like and marrying. The few transferred to Nashville in 2002, where they were able to land an area starting for Loretta Lynn on the Grand Ole Opry. A melody the set co-wrote, “If Like Was a River,” and another melody of Adam’s, “Solid Enough,” both made an appearance on Jackson’s 2004 record release, What I REALLY DO. Gigging wherever they could around Music Town, the Wrights shortly caught the eye and ears of companies Keith Stegall and John Kelton, who had taken the couple in to the studio, leading to 2005’s Down This Street, released on Jackson’s ACR (Alan’s Nation Information) label together with RCA.
