Late-sixties Dallas music group Southwest F.O.B. are mainly appreciated for “Smell of Incense,” a pop-psychedelic melody with an ethereal body organ that was a big local strike in the South, and a little nationwide one. The group had been more aligned using the “gentle rock and roll” or sunlight pop sounds normal of several late-sixties pop-psychedelic southern Californian works than the hard Texas garage design. Multi-part vocal harmonies characterized a lot of their preparations, and their periodic usage of horns added a moderate dash of spirit.
