The Mumlers Bio/Wiki 2018
Called after scandalized 19th century spirit photographer William H. Mumler, this San Jose indie folk collective requires a multi-genre method of songwriting, having an eclectic mixture of tools (extracted from a giveaway from the San Jose Unified College Area) and designs similar to Devendra Banhart. Shaped in 2005 by vocalist/songwriter Will Sprott, the Mumlers contain multi-instrumentalists Mercedes Un Vencere, Andy Paul, Wayne Fenwicke, Müller, Felix Archuleta, and Paolo Gomez. With Sprott sense that he previously come up with a supergroup of older friends and regional music artists, the Mumlers started playing displays in San Jose to warm receptions, and in 2007 the music group released its debut recording, Thickets & Stitches, on Galaxia. In ’09 2009 the Mumlers released their follow-up recording, Don’t Toss Me Away, before moving out on their 1st nationwide tour, where they opened up for the Dark Heart Procession.
