The Front Bottoms Bio/Wiki 2018
LEADING Bottoms are an indie rock duo from NJ whose music is a wildly eclectic mixture of pop, rock, and punk influences, accompanied by witty lyrics offering a rapid-fire, somewhat surreal perspective around the world around them. LEADING Bottoms are vocalist Brian Sella on guitars and vocals and Mathew Uychich on drums and bullhorn. Hailing from Bergen Region, NJ, Sella and Uychich have already been friends given that they were a decade old, and began writing tunes collectively when Sella is at sixth quality. After years of earning music independently, Sella and Uychich made a decision to consider their act to the level at a high-school skill display, where they performed an original track and a Modest Mouse cover. Sella’s mom hoped to motivate the boys by purchasing them a while at an area recording studio room, where they were able to record 12 tracks in only three hours. With more than enough original tracks to try out a set, leading Bottoms had been booked to try out an all-ages display at a membership in Pompton Lakes, NJ with a small number of regional rings; there they fulfilled Casey Lee Morgan, who was simply running audio that evening and documented music in his house studio. Morgan began doing periods using the duo, and in 2008 leading Bottoms released a self-released record, I actually Hate My Close friends, and they strike the road, building their way along the East Coastline and performing any makeshift place that would keep these things. Another D.We.Y. record, My Grandmother vs. Pneumonia, premiered in ’09 2009, and an EP made an appearance this year 2010. In early stages within their touring exploits, Brian Uychich (Mathew’s sibling) joined up with the duo on keyboards and vocals, but he still left the group in 2011 to go after his education, and leading Bottoms continuing on without him. In 2011 leading Bottoms agreed upon a cope with respected NJ independent label Club/None Information, and their initial album because of their new sponsors, basically titled LEADING Bottoms, was released in Sept 2011. They adopted it up with 2013’s Talon from the Hawk, and in 2014 released a six-song EP of previously unreleased lover favorites entitled Rose, which is usually supposedly the 1st in some EPs to become named following the bandmembers’ grandmothers. In Apr 2015 they released a break up EP known as Liberty and Character with rapper GDP, accompanied by their third studio room recording, the Fueled by Ramen-issued Back again at the top, in September of this year.
