Stephen along with Skip Bayless appears on ESPN First Take. Smith was born on 14th October 1967. He’s from Tortola, BVI but was raised in the neighbourhood of Hollis of New York. Stephen has four elder sisters. When in college, Smith was trained to play basketball under Clarence Gaines, a Hall of Fame trainer. He used to write for the college journal, The News Argus. Smith is also the member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Stephen started off his career as a sportswriter. In once, he got work as a writer at “The Philadelphia Inquirer”. He started off as a general sportswriter, but shortly began reporting on the Philadelphia 76ers. Eventually, at managed to eventually be a general sports columnist.
