Award winning American broadcast journalist Soledad O’Brien has an estimated net worth of $5 million and a yearly salary of $1.5 million. On February 21, 2013, it was declared that she’d leave CNN to begin the Starfish Media Group creation business. Her father Edward was an Australian of Irish ancestry and a mechanical engineering professor. Her mom is Afrocuban and a French and English teacher. She graduated from Smithtown High School East in 1984. She attended Harvard from 1984 to 1988 but she failed to get a degree until she returned in 2000. Soledad is a mom of four and she began her career with WBZ TV as an associate producer and news writer.
