Paul has been playing for the team since 1999. Paul Henry Konerko was born on March 5, 1976 in Providence, Rhode Island. While Paul was attending Chaparral High School, Konerko was identified as the Player of the Year by the Arizona Republic/Phoenix Gazette. In 1994, Paul Konerko was chosen as a first round (13th overall) pick by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1994 Major League Baseball Draft. Along with Dennys Reyes, he was eventually traded to Chicago White Sox in exchange for Mike Cameron. Along with Ryan Howard, Paul Konerko was elected into the Arizona Fall League Hall of Fame. In 2005, he was a portion of the team which won the World Series champion. He was chosen to an All-Star game in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2010, 2011, and 2012.
