Oscar De La Hoya is a retired American professional fighter of Mexican descent and he has an estimated net worth of $53 million which made him the greatest getting fighter ever. He’s brought in his net worth through his winnings as a fighter in six different weight divisions with ten world titles along with his company, Golden Boy Promotions, which he put up to take control of his own fights. Nicknamed “The Golden Boy,” De La Hoya won a gold medal at the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992. In his amateur career, he had 234 triumphs with 163 knockouts, and just six losses where six of these came at the hands of Shane Mosley. Oscar De La Hoya made his professional debut on November 23, 1992 and has scored a first round TKO success. Oscar claimed the vacant WBO Lightweight title on July 29, 1994 after a second round knockout win against Jorge Paez. De La Hoya fought Mexican legend Julio Cesar Chavez for the WBO Light welterweight championship where he won having a fourth round TKO. When he moved to the welterweight division, he fought against Pernell Whitaker and won in a undisputed unanimous division on March 12, 1997. In this same division, that Oscar lost to Mosley twice. De then moved up to light middleweight and later the middleweight division. After a 20-month layoff, Oscar came back to boxing and fought with the prominent Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. Oscar announced his retirement on April 14, 2009.
