Mickey Gilley Net Worth $10 Million

Jim Gilley, Carl McVoy and Jimmy Swaggart. He also has private pilot privileges for single engine aircraft. His music career prospered because of his cousin Jerry Lee Lewis, the rock and roll singer. Mickey Gilley failed to think of himself as a professional singer until his cousin Lewis had a huge hit in the 1950s. Gilley afterward started recording few songs and one of his songs “Call Me Soon” did extremely well. In 1960, Gilley went and played in many nightclubs and pubs. Gilley was popular in Texas. Gilley subsequently released his debut record under Paula Records. The record was named “Down the Line”, however he had just one minor hit in this record called “Now I could Dwell Again”.

He opened his first club in Pasadena in Texas in 1970. It was named Gilley’s Club. Nonetheless the club was demolished along with a school was constructed in its place later on. In 1974, Gilley was signed to Playboy Records. His first hit, “House of Roses” gave him national recognition, plus it stays one of his signature songs to this day. Throughout 1970, he released plenty of hits. From the conclusion of 1970, his popularity was fading away though.
