The Portuguese group Madredeus comprises vocalist Teresa Salgueiro, guitarists José Peixoto and Pedro Ayres Magalhães, violin player Francisco Ribeiro, harmonica player Gabriel Gomes, and keyboard player Rodrigo Leão. Affected from the music of Lisbon, the music group travelled throughout European countries and became specifically well-known in Belgium. Madredeus’ debut recording Operating-system Dias da Madredeus premiered in 1987 adopted three years later on by Existir and Lisboa Reside in 1992 on Blue Notice; the group also made an appearance in the 1994 Wim Wenders film Lisbon Tale (Viagem A Lisboa), where Ayres Magalhãsera and Salgueiro performed quite prominent tasks. In 1995, two albums adopted, Ainda and O Espiritu Da Paz. Additional releases consist of 1999’s O Porto. Antologia adopted a year later on. Movimento, that was released in summer season 2001.
