Joss Stone is her stage name, her actual name is Joscelyn Eve Stoker, but she favors her stage name more. She’s an English actress, vocalist and songwriter. She was born in Dover but spend most of her teen years in Ashill, it’s a little hamlet near Cullompton in Devon. She’s three siblings and second youngest among them. Her dad has an import & an export company of fruits and nuts, whereas her mom worked as a Store manager till October 2004. She became famous with her multi platinum debut album in 2003, The Soul Sessions, that has been nominated for 2004 Mercury Prize. Afterward came her second record, Mind Body & Soul, that was again a multi platinum one, which topped the united kingdom record Chart for the entire week and her single You’d Me stayed in the top ten lists for fairly long.
