Gotye Net Worth $5 Million

Gotye formed Downstares, his first group, in high school itself. After the group gained recognition across Melbourne, his songwriting abilities were praised as well. Post graduation, the members of Downstares went distinct ways but Gotye continued to make music on his own. After marketing himself in the college circuit, he got the opportunity to perform on various independent radio stations. During this period, himself also collaborated with fellow musician Kris Schroeder and started another venture called The Basics.

In 2003, himself was eventually offered a distribution deal and since then he’s become a significant fury in the international music industry. He received several ARIA awards in Australia and his song ‘Somebody that I Used to Know’ reached the number one slot on multiple music charts across the world. Currently himself plans on attending distinct summer music festivals and make appearances on television too.
