A blue-eyed Detroit spirit group that appreciated a short while in the limelight during 1970-1971, these were initially referred to as the Flaming Embers. The music group included guitarist Joe Sladich, pianist Costs Ellis, bassist Jim Bugnel, and drummer Jerry Plunk. They initial documented for Ric-Tic in 1968, after that moved to Sizzling hot Wax and fell the “s.” The music “Brain, Body and Spirit,” “Westbound #9,” and “I’m Not really My Brother’s Keeper” each produced the pop Best 40 and R&B Best 20. But “End the Globe and I WANT TO Off” flopped, despite released on both Sizzling hot Polish and Radio Energetic Silver. The group afterwards transformed its name to Brain, Body and Spirit and became a fixture over the Detroit bar picture through the past due ’70s.
