Dead Confederate Bio/Wiki 2018

Dead Confederate have a post-grunge method of their music, which also leans heavily around the group’s psychedelic and Southern rock and roll influences. Seed products for the band’s development were planted through the past due ’90s, when long term bandmates Hardy Morris (vocals, acoustic guitar), Brantley Senn (bass), Walker Howle (acoustic guitar), John Watkins (keyboards), and Jason Scarboro (drums) bonded more than a distributed affinity for Red Floyd and Dark Sabbath. Although hailing from Augusta, GA, the quintet relocated to Atlanta pursuing college graduation. Another move quickly adopted, this time around to Athens, where in fact the group doubled its touring attempts and caught the interest of previous Capitol Records chief executive Gary Gersh. Impressed using the band’s haunting audio, Gersh signed Deceased Confederate to his fresh label, The Performers Organization, and released their debut EP in early 2008. A full-length recording, Wrecking Ball, adopted in September, as well as the group came back two years later on release a its second record, Sugars. An EP, Peyote People made an appearance in 2012, accompanied by another full-length, In the Marrow, early in 2013.
