Cris Collinsworth was born onJanuary 27, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio. In 1991, he finished his accounting degree in the University of Florida and ten years later, he was elected into the University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame. In 1981, Cris debuted into the NFL when he was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals as another round pick in the 1981 NFL Draft. His eight-year tenure together with the NFL was spent using the Bengals.

After his retirement, Collinsworth began working as a sports radio talk show host for WLW station. In 1989, he became a reporter for Inside the NFL which is aired on HBO. He is the present host of WGN America’s Inside the Vault and color commentator for Madden NFL 09, Madden NFL 10, Madden NFL 11 and Madden NFL 12.
