Connie Chung Net Worth $15 Million

Born on August 20th 1946, Connie Chung is an American created journalist. She’s worked as an anchorman along with a television reporter in several channels. Chung’s present estimated net worth stands at $15 Million as an effect of being in the profession for about 40 years.

During the initial phases of her reporting profession, Chung worked as a correspondent for the “CBS Evening News”. Chung then moved on to southern California, where she joined CBS, KNXT, which is currently called KCBS. Chung afterwards worked for many news stations through her career, like the NBC, ABC, CNN, and MSNBC. During her livelihood, Chung has interviewed plenty of popular personalities from time to time. On 5th January, 1995, Chung interviewed Kathleen Gingrich, mother-of the then republican, Newt Gingrich. That interview allegedly turned out to be quite contentious, as Chung insisted Mrs. Gingrich to “whisper” to her a particular secret that concerns Hillary Clinton. On April 1995, Chung was in another controversy by inquiring the Oklahoma City Fire Department spokesman whether they were capable of handling the “Bomb Situation” that had aroused in town. Depending on the situation, it was an extremely insensitive question from Chung. She was finally demoted from her job by CBS.

In the span of her career, Chung has also interviewed other famous people like Martina Navratilova, Claus von Bulow and Gary Condit. She made her millions through her livelihood in extensive, undaunted coverage. Connie Chung’s daddy was a Taiwanese Diplomat. She was the youngest of her 10 siblings. Connie Chung is now married to Maury Povich, who’s a talk show host. They’ve an adopted son whose name is Matthew Jay Povich.
